Locally Grown Fresh Leaves

In Asian countries, mulberry leaves are most commonly used to make tea.

 

To make mulberry leaf tea, first cut fresh leaves into strips or small pieces. Add leaves to boiling water and let simmer for 5-10 minutes, depending on desired strength. The tea is ready when the water has turned a light green color.

 

Potential health benefits include:

lowering blood sugar, cholesterol, and inflammation levels.*

 

These attributes may make them useful for fighting heart disease and diabetes.
